Step 1 of 8 - Principal Applicant - Basic
Principal applicant is the person who meets one of the three criteria for the New 2021 Resident visa, namely, 'Settled', 'Skilled' or 'Scarce'.
On 29 September 2021, you need to have been in New Zealand, AND holding an eligible visa type.
If the Principal Applicant was not in New Zealand on 29 September 2021, you may not be eligible. Please contact us to clarify.
You must have entered New Zealand on or before 29 September 2018, AND have spent at least 821 days between 29 September 2018 and 29 September 2021
On 29 September 2021, you must have been in full time employment, and either paid $27/hour or above, or your job was in the 'Scarce List'
